Uh Oh No

Well guess what I knew it was to good to be true. I'm allergic to Mohair dang it. That ticks me off I love the feel of it and it's oh so pretty. I am just going to have to take an allergy pill that's all there is to it. It never bugged me using Filatura Di Crosa Baby Kid Extra on my pretty Leaf Scarf until I had to tink back a few rows and then my breathing started getting tight and I felt a little weird from the little bit of fuzzy's that came off. It wasn't horrible like a major asthma attack or anything so I figured the next day I would test it out on a different yarn I have. Paton's Lacette. OMG this is ten times worse then the Baby Kid and they have only have 25% Mohair. I think it might depend on the quality of these yarns honestly. The Baby Kid is higher quailty yarn and it only made me have a little breathing hitch but the Lacette I had to put into a plastic bag and get it away from me because I became extremely asthmatic from it I think it was because the fuzzys just came off when you barely touched it. I got a really nice skein of Plymouth Yukon in my last swap and it also doesn't do anything to me. I find it puzzling really.

Well the leaf scarf will get finished and I will be gifting it to someone. Kinda sucks though.

Heres a happy picture to make up for my little rant. This is Daisy enjoying a bit of sunshine and warmth. Have a great day.

Best Wishes,
Linda
